All of our lead techs are trained and certified by the IICRC (Institute for Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification) plus they are personally trained by the owner, over a period of several months not hours like other companies before they ever go out on their own to clean. This not only gives you confidence in their ability but equally important they are super confident of how to properly handle the equipment, cleaning solutions, and how to properly and professionally clean your carpets.
Your cleaning experience starts actually the moment you call our office, and one of our friendly, knowledgeable, a live operators will answer your questions and book your appointment. She will also call you the day before your appointment to remind you that we are coming. You will only get an answering machine if all our lines are busy and then you will get a quick call back. We know your time is important.
Our crew will arrive on time for scheduled appointment, they will ask you to walk them through the areas you would like cleaned, asking questions about any spots or spills or areas of concern that you might have. They will give you a brochure explaining our cleaning and the three packages Basic, Value, Premium that you may chose from. As you are reading thru the info, they will measure up and give you an exact price and clear explanation of what they can do. No exaggerations or pie in the sky promises to get your work, but honest answers. We would far rather promise you less and deliver more than you were expecting.
Once you have chosen your package the techs will first pre-vac all traffic areas thoroughly with a commercial vacuum, as up to 79% of soiling in carpets is non soluble – it is always best to remove it dry.
With your traffic areas thoroughly vacuumed, the tech will proceed to apply a pre-spray solution to your carpets. This product is “green seal” cleaning solution that emulsifies oil that holds all that soiling to your carpets, it requires 10-15 minutes of dwell time to loosen and dissolve the soil. Majority of cleaners chose to mix their cleaning products in their water system, injecting it as they clean. This is far quicker for them as they do not have to stop & pre-spray but it leaves your carpet full of shampoos that rapidly attract soil, leaving the carpet feeling sticky and hard. Our clients comment all the time on how long their carpets stay clean and how soft and fluffy they feel once we are done. Protective corner guards (and drop sheets where required) are set up to protect your home during the cleaning process.
All our cleaning equipment is outside in our vans, no heavy portables or scrubbers are dragged your home. All our hoses attach directly to our truck mounted equipment. The advantages are many, but just to name a few:
- all the humidity that is picked is blown out of your home – no fogged windows and slow drying
- no heavy equipment in your home – marking your floors, walls and furnishings
- all the odours, dust mites, & pet dander blown outside not back into your rooms like portables and other methods – leaving your home smelling clean & fresh
- extremely powerful commercial cleaning units in vans provide superior heat and suction – making for quick drying, and deep down cleaning – not a brush the dirt off the top cleaning
With the cleaning product pre-sprayed on, the proper dwell time, and all spots & spill have been properly pre-treated, the tech begins cleaning. Using high suction, and hot water (210 degree plus) the tech rinses out all the soil, spills and cleaning products in your carpeting. The “steam”, not only helps to clean your carpet, but it also destroys odours, helps to sanitize, and leaves the carpet feeling soft and clean.
At this point the tech (depending on which package) will apply a protectant. We a proud to use one of the only “Green Seal” protectants on the market. This product is applied after cleaning to the damp carpeting and raked in to set the pile as well as to evenly distribute the protectant. If the basic package was chosen we would pile set the carpet and not protect. Then we proceed to set up drying equipment as they clean, These high powered air movers quickly dry each room, greatly reducing the drying time once we leave.
Upon completion of every step of which ever package was chosen, the tech will go over the completed job with clients explaining any concerns, Do’s & Don’ts, spotting tips, leaving behind important info, a fridge magnet, and with Value & Premium Clients they also receive a FREE Spotter bottle and laminated spotting guide PLUS Value clients are entitled to having the same traffic areas cleaned again with in 6 months for half price and Premium clients receive the same traffic areas cleaned for FREE in six months.

Just ask: Mrs. Sanders,
“What can I say? I have never experienced such excellent results in all the years of rug cleaning (many years). The courtesy and respect for our home. The staff came in told us what they could do, then consequently did what they said they would. All with Fuss & bother. We had planned to replace the rug in 2009: NO need for that now! AAA does a wonderful job. Thank you AAA.”
Deep Steam Cleaning Vs. The Other Methods
There are a number of various cleaning methods used to clean carpets. Hot Water Extraction or sometimes called Deep Steam Cleaning is recommended by leading manufactures world wide. There is no question that steam cleaning is the most effective and thorough way to clean your carpets and upholstery. It is the only method that rinses all dirt and cleaning solutions right out. Methods of dry cleaning and dry foam boast a faster drying time, but is a couple of hours of quicker drying time worth it when you sacrifice the quality of the cleaning?
The problem with all other methods of carpet and upholstery cleaning is that they leave soap, residue and dirt behind. This is why many experience their carpets and upholstery re-soiling rapidly after they have been cleaned. The soap, residue and dirt they leave behind attracts more dirt and you find yourself having to ‘clean’ your carpets and upholstery more often. Think of it, if you applied shampoo to your hair and then took a towel and rubbed it dry you would remove some oil and dirt but your hair would be sticky and hard, and would rapidly attract more dirt. The same happens with these other systems.
Don’t just take our Word for it, Ask the Experts;
“Research indicates that the hot water extraction system provides the best capability for cleaning. This system is commonly referred to as “steam cleaning”, although no steam is actually generated. The process consists of spraying a solution of water and detergent into the carpet pile and recovering the water and soil with a powerful vacuum into a holding tank. This can be done from a truck-mounted unit outside the home with only the hose and wand brought inside or by a portable system brought into the home.
It is to your advantage to use professional cleaners because their experience enables them to do a better job than you can do yourself. Their equipment has more extraction power than the rental units available to individuals, and the carpet should dry more quickly. True professionals also understand the equipment, know the proper cleaning agents for the situation at hand, and recognize the differences in fibers and carpet construction.”

“Ground-in soil can only be removed by professionals with high powered equipment.
Choose a professional company who uses a truck-mounted steam extraction system. These cleaners are usually more efficient, deliver a higher degree of soil removal, and reduce drying time.”
World Carpets – Care and Cleaning Guide
“Steam Cleaning – is by far the most thorough on-location method for removing embedded soil. Since there is no rotary brush, there is minimum pile distortion: This is especially important in shags or plushes. Detergent build-up is minimized because of immediate vacuum pick-up.”
Herculon Carpets On-location Maintenance Booklet
We at AAA Steam Carpet Cleaning use only high powered truck-mounted steam cleaning units, capable of high temperatures of up to 250 degrees. These units provide superior vacuum and cleaning power to remove deep embedded soil. With this high power and heat drying times are as little as 2 hrs averaging 4-6 hrs, extremely soiled carpets can take longer.
